ASHERMAN SYNDROME:

One of my articles Onion Recipe for Missed period attracted a lot of comments and testimonies, some which Onion recipe could not sort out due to hormonal imbalances, I made some recommendations and their period came out.. And according to my discussion and interactions i found out that 90%of these women that has hormonal imbalance, faces challenges of infertility. And in my  article on the causes of infertility, Ovulation disorder ie hormonal imbalance is among the causes.
Then A client dropped this on my whats app, when i shared about helping one get pregnant. Fertility package.
The Doctor says She has Asherman Syndrome which is blockage of the uterine wall.
Thats why i decided to write on this article.

Asherman Syndrome is the formation of scar tissue in the Uterine Cavity. The problem most often develop after uterine Surgery,due to some trauma.

SYmptoms: The majority of women who have Asherman Syndrome have few or no period. Some women have a pain in the time that their period should be due,but dont have any bleeding. This could indicate you are menstruating but that the period is unable to leave the uterus because the exit is blocked by scar tissue.

How Does Asherman Syndrome affect Fertility: Some women with Asherman Syndrome are unable to conceive or have recurrent miscarriages. It is possible to become pregnant if you have Asherman Syndrome but the Adhesion on the the uterus can pose a risk to developing fetus.

Causes: 90% of all cases of Asherman Syndrome occur following a dilation and Curettage{D and C} procedure. A D and C is generally performed following an incomplete miscarriage,retained placenta  after delivery or elective abortion ie To remove tumors /fibroids,to remove tissues left behind in the womb after miscarriage or child birth,To remove intrauterine device{IUD}which is a form of birth control or elective abortion.
