Help Kids Get More Vitamin D:

Getting  Vit D is pretty important for you and your children.about 70% of children are not getting enough Vit D.adults with low Vit D are at a higher risk for diabetes,cancers,HBP & cardiovascular disease.
Children with low levels of Vit D were at a higher risk of HBP and have a lower amount of good cholestrol in their blood.They also tend to have higher levels of parathyroid hormone meaning that their bones need more calcium to grow.
Ways Of Getting Vit D:
Eat food rich in Vit D-fatty fish such as tuna,salmon, & sardines.Drink fortified milk & orange juice & eat cereals with Vit D.Suppliments.Use fortified milk instead of water in soups & oatmeal.Feed children with yogurt fortified with Vit D.
Encourage outside play time-Your body makes it in your skin through the action of UV rays from the sun.It only takes about 15-20mins in the sun for your body to make enough Vit D.
