KEY KNOWLEGDE OF DIABETES.
Diabetes is a disease in which the body dose t produce or properly use insulin leading to high blood sugar..
SIGNS AND SUMPTOMS:
Always tired, frequent urination, Sudden weight loss, Wound that would not heal, Sexual problem, Always hungry, Always thirsty, Blurred Vision, Numb or tingling in hand and feet, Vaginal infection.
Type 1 diabetes is a chronic autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the insulin-secreting β cells in the pancreas, so there is no insulin can be produced. You will find generally teenagers who have this type of diabetes.
Type 2 diabetes occurs in adults. Our cells are not responding to insulin, which is called insulin resistance. So we have elevated blood sugar level and the sugar fails to enter our cells to be burnt as energy. Our cells get starved and we end up with frequent urination, increased thirsty, hunger and fatigue.
Cause of Type II Diabetes : High fat and cholesterol, high bloos pressure, overweight, sedentary lifestyle, smoking
Once you get diabetes, it will cause many complications such as cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, high blood lipid, kidney disease, neuropathy, diseases of the eyes, peripheral vascular diseases, which may dramatically reduce the life quality of diabetic patients.
The complication of Diabetes includes : Diabetic Retinopathy, which this will affect your eyesight
The vision become blurr, even can caused blindness
The second complication of Diabetes is : Diabetic Nephropathy
Which this will affect the function of our kidney due to high blood sugar level filtered by the kidney. And the high glucose level will damage the kidney cells and lowering down the kidney function.
The worst state is Kidney failure as many of Diabetic patients experience this kidney failure and they have to do Dialysis, tho clean / filter their blood using Dialysis machine
But definetely the cost of Kidney Transplantation is very high, which not everybody can afford
Once you have kidney failure, you have to do Dialysis until the last day of our life, unless you can afford to get a new kidney by doing kidney transplantation.
The other complication of Diabetes is Diabetic Neuropathy
The wound cannot be heal until the area of the wound would become like a dead part of our body
The high blood sugar level may damage our nerve system which will cause the body not able to respond for any wound
Which called gangrene
The only way doctors would advise is to amputate the part of the body with the gangrene

● Diet regulation
The key to a diabetic diet is to keep your blood sugar level even. This is achieved best by eating little and often, choosing foods that contain slow-releasing carbohydrates plus some protein. Stay away from foods that are high in saturated fats or sweets. Take more whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds which can help you control blood glucose. Also avoid too many adrenal stimulants such as tea, coffee, alcohol, cigarettes and salt.
: ● Lifestyle changes
Take regular physical exercise. Studies show that regular exercise can reduce the risk of diabetes by half because exercise can help reverse the effects of insulin resistan ce. Stop smoking and alcohol consumption which could make diabetes complications more serious.
