The central mechanism for degeneration of brain cells is inflammation and oxidation damage.
How to protect your brain:
Healthy diet including low-fat and high -fibre food like fresh fruit and vegetables will protect you from attack of cerebrovascular disease.
Regular exercise lowers your risk of developing dementia & Alzheimer's disease by making your heart and blood circulatory system more efficient.
Remain as mentally & pyhsically active as possible throughout the whole life and have a wide range of different activities and hobbies which will help you reduce the risk of developing neurodegenerative disease.
Moderate taking of alcohol & quit smoking.

Protein is a great brain food! Makes sense that it would be good for Alzheimer’s based on what I know about how much it can help develop the brain in general.
